Kyle Collins competes in regional, national, and world aerobatic events with a focus on precision, discipline, and continual improvement. His flying is centered on high standards, careful preparation, and the challenge of performing at a consistently high level.
Kyle holds a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering and has spent much of his career working in aircraft design, flight test, and systems engineering. That technical background gives him a practical perspective on how aircraft behave, perform, and can be improved.
Aerosports Unlimited is built to help companies in the general aviation community gain useful pilot feedback from an extreme flying environment. Kyle’s background in aerobatics and product development supports a hands-on approach to evaluating ideas, testing concepts, and refining products.
From early product development work in the parachute industry to later aerospace research, Kyle has always combined flying with innovation. He sees aerobatics not only as a sport, but also as a unique environment where performance, design, and practical problem solving come together.
As a professor in Aeronautical Science at Embry-Riddle, Kyle is occasionally invited to give special-topic seminars on aerobatics and aerospace research. He enjoys sharing ideas that connect the classroom, the cockpit, and real-world engineering.
Kyle also provides aerobatic coaching for pilots looking to improve their precision, confidence, and overall flying skill. His goal is to help others progress in a way that is thoughtful, safe, and grounded in both experience and technical understanding.
